I almost had that opportunity last night and may have a repeat chance tomorrow. It's a sort of long story how- but I would rather not post the details online mostly for security and privacy reasons.

Hi guys i bought my prelude fairly cheap just to get a around, and of course for the power there known to have. Anyways im into modding and working on them, but im stumped on this one. When i bought the car it came with one engine code lol. And of course it was the egr insufficient code.

Anyways i decided to tackle the task my self to save a few bucks. I researched a bit and looked at a few diy's or howtos. i removed the egr just like ur suppose to and cleaned the valve with wd40 and rim cleaner.. I didnt really have brake cleaner.. so i just used what i had.. thinking that rim cleaner should be really powerfull.. I cleaned the valve it self and then started loading the port holes on the engine it self with the two cleaners in an attempt to clean the port holes since i didnt have time to do the port holes.

later that night my dad took me to princessauto and i grabbed a bottle of brake clean and did the exact same thing as before cleaning both the ports on the engine, and the valve itself. I put it all back together, and noticed white smoke everytime i reved it:S? So i thought maybe the stuff didnt get burnt out.. so i took the egr off again and left it over night thinking the chemicals would maybe evaporate. But of course when i put it back together today its still smoking. I tried letting the car run for a while to burn it out but to no avail.. im COMPLETELY stumped on this one.

Also the car seems to perform just fine.. :S no stumbling or having hard time to rev..

Im really stuck because i need to get the etest done.. really soon.

Thanks
Randy

I'm thinking of switching to Mobilicity. Anybody know what their coverage is like in the GTA?

I've heard they were pretty bad when they launched a few years ago but I can only imagine they have gotten better.

Currently they have a promo: http://mobilicity.ca/promotions/save-50/

I'm now on a dumb phone plan with Chatr (aka: Rogers). Currently $25 + tx I get:
- Unlimited any time talk
- In province LD
- Call waiting, forwarding, ID and vmail
- unlimited local txt

I have been very happy with the service and price however i need a data plan for Personal email and web browsing as I will be working for myself very soon and will require mobile data on the go.

Thinking about their unlimited Value plan $45 - 50% = $22.50+tx which gets me:
- Unlimited local air time
- Canada wide LD
- Txt and pict txt in north america
- call waiting, forwarding, ID, 3Way, Vmail
- Unlimited DAta
- 30 mins North American Roaming (probably to cover holes in their coverage)
- US Long D

Cheapest deals seem to be from Mobilicity and Wind. Very tempting to switch to Mobilicity with %50 off promo for 12 months.

The catch is limited selection of phones available to use.

If there's a new, sure fire way, I'd like to use that!
