Blown Shocks
I've had my Tien SS for about 3 years now and recently I've had the joy of seeing my car bounce around - just like in Need For Speed Shift - Both my passenger side front and rear shocks are blown. There is ZERO stiffness in them.
I've heard that you could bring in your aftermarket shocks and have them rebuilt. Does anyone know of anywhere that could rebuild shocks? A new set would just brake the bank at this point. |

Re: Blown Shocks
if it's making a sound then it's a bushing....you can keep driving it...if it's gone then you'll see the car bouncing around ( hard to tell cause you drive a car tht's set low from factory)
another way to tell blown struts and shocks is if you take a hard left or right and the car understeers....or you notice longer than usual stopping distance( assuming your brakes are ok) |

Re: Blown Shocks
The stiffness damper does not work, it feels like its on softest setting. You could push down on the corners on the car. the good ones will go down up and stop moving. The blown side goes down and up several times before you notice it stop moving.
