Re: search

Looks like the search indexes all reset. Searching 'burning oil' gives you this thread. I'll rebuild the search index later tonight. It takes a lot of resources.

Re: search

I ran the rebuild, but it died somewhere in the middle. I'll set it going again tonight. Seems like traffic is going to be slow tonight anyway.

Re: search

After a few days of playing with this, I'm giving up doing it at night, because when the rebuild dies I have no way of knowing where it left off. So, I've been doing it in short bursts here and we'll see if the web provider complains about the load. We're up to 700k post indexed. Based on the post count in here, that's about half way through.

Re: search

Hmm.. I completed the rebuild. The only way for me to see what is missed is to do some lookups on the actual SQL tables. I'll see what I can do, because I don't want to run that again, it took forever.

Re: search

Search is one of the more used features. I'd like to have it working properly. I'm assuming some range of posts got missed from the indexing due to the multiple restarts.

Re: search

Funny. You can find it if you search for 'roscoe' or 'goochie', but for some reason it does not want to index 'coltrane' in that post.
