el cluster intsall help

i have a 93 prelude which is auto
i got a 95 srv prelude digital cluster which i really want to install
i couldnt seem to fit all the plugs in. there was a yellow one at the top and a green one on the left that fit. the third one (which is originally on the right side of the 93 prelude cluster) did not seem to fit any where.

any help please

you sure you didnt get cluster from a 5speed? most likely diff connectors auto vs 5 speed..

ya the el cluster is from a 5 speed...
and i have an auto

well, you would need to cut that connector adn find the corresponding wiring diagram..not an easy task, if you want to have it working.

it could be as easy as matchign colours but i'm not sure...plus u'll need to do the same on your stock connector (cut and splice wires)...i would look for a new cluster 5speed.

how much do u want that el cluster?

im extensively knowledgeable about el swap, manual to manual, but manual to auto is kinda wrong way around it, i know everything about el swap, did it +fixed the glitch with bb3/bb2 el conversions b4 lift

find auto el and ill help u with install

i picked it up for 230 so i dont want to lose money on it without even using it, and i really liked how it lights up... really bright...so im not reallly keen on selling but if it doesnt work its kinda worthless to me.

auto el are really hard to find... i tried looking kijiji, craigslist n everywhere... cant find it anywhere!

any suggestions?

buy a standard car and put the el cluster you have in it now

dont think you'll find an auto with an e/l cluster.. other then a scrap yard.. go to a scrap... ask them for a cluster... then return the one you bought to them saying it doesnt work... but the thing is they usually record the milage and put a yellow mark on the cluster so swapping them may not work too well..
why cant you jsut return it to whoever you got it from?

it was some guy who was parting out their car in hamilton...i dont have their number and i highly doubt he would return it.

its a manual el but there are people that have put it in an auto. i got it from a 96 srv.
